The crash occurred around 4 p.m. near East Pershing and South King Drive.
Fifteen people were transported to local hospitals from the scene, according to the Chicago Fire Department.
Video posted on social media showed several ambulances and at least one fire truck in the area as emergency responders tended to the crash.
