Much of Colorado’s Front Range is under a red flag warning again Friday as forecasters predict another dry and windy day.
“The mild, dry and windy conditions could result in rapid fire spread if a fire were to form,” according to a social media post from the National Weather Service. “There is some relief on the way with multiple chances for precipitation next week.”

The warning will be in effect between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. To avoid starting a spark that could become a fire, officials ask Coloradans to be aware of creating sparks of any kind, including by avoiding driving on dry grass and properly discarding cigarettes.
