That broke the previous ACC record of a 1:48.89 set by Carles Coll Marti of Virginia Tech at the 2025 NCAA Championships.
That also broke Coll Marti’s old meet record of a 1:49.62 that he swam to win a year ago. Okadome was 2nd last year in a 1:50.19.
