Egypt’s Ministry of Electricity has launched its “Unified Readings Program” via Google Play on Thursday, an application that will allow users to monitor their home electricity meter and ensure the regular issuance of bills. Subscribers of the Canal Company for Electricity Distribution and Upper Egypt Electricity Production companies, which serves the Red Sea, South and North Sinai, Sharqiya, Ismailia, Suez, Port Said, Qena, Luxor, Sohag and Aswan governorates, will be able to use the application.
