ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Today will be on the milder side temperature-wise, but it’ll be breezy and very wet with rain falling throughout the morning. This afternoon we get a break in the rain with temperatures rising into the 40s, then a cold front will bring another batch of rain and drop our temperatures back into the 30s. Rain showers turn to snow showers later this evening and will last all the way through the weekend…
Saturday temperatures peak in the low 30s as snow showers continue. Sunday more snow showers and cold temperatures again. You may have heard about a potential nor’easter happening this weekend. That won’t hit us, but it will help support the formation of snow showers over the region… Nothing intense. By the end of the weekend we’re only looking at 1-3 inches of snow in the Rochester and Finger Lakes region.
Colder temperatures and A.M. snow Monday, then temperatures slowly rise up to average and above average for the second half of the workweek.
