ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Our next storm system will be moving in to close out the work week. It’ll start with a warm front and a batch of rain Friday morning. We’ll see a period of drier weather work in, followed by some more rain showers during the afternoon with a cold front. This cold front will start to drop our temperatures back into the 30s. Eventually it’ll turn chilly enough for some snow showers to mix in by late Friday evening and night.
The weekend turns wintry once again. Light snow showers stick around on Saturday as temperatures drop back into the 20s through the day, so the morning will tend to be the warmest part of the day. A Nor’easter will be developing along the coast, and while it won’t have a major impact on our weather, but enough moisture will be thrown back in our direction that we will see some snow showers and periods of light snow. A couple inches of accumulation will be possible over the weekend, before tapering and ending on Monday.
The chill will return early next week, with highs falling back into the 20s for Monday and Tuesday, before starting a rebound by the middle to end of next week.
