The British singer-songwriter issued a statement to social media on Tuesday, Feb. 17 to apologize for a recent ticket mixup during her concert in Paris over the weekend, where tens of her fans were turned down outside of the venue despite having tickets to see the show.
According to Raye, whose real name is Rachel Agatha Keen, 65 ticket holders planning to attend her show on Sunday, Feb. 15 were denied entry at the Accor Arena in Paris. The issue was the result of what she called a "system error at Ticketmaster, meaning 65 tickets were not fully validated when they were purchased."
"I feel saddened and let down," she wrote in the post, confirming that the denied ticket holders were already refunded and given a voucher from Ticketmaster—but Raye wanted to take it a step further.
