Four SEC quarterbacks, including a former Heisman Trophy favorite from the Bayou, will be headed to Indianapolis later this month:
Taylen Green, Arkansas Ty Simpson, Alabama Garrett Nussmeier, LSU Diego Pavia, VanderbiltFormer Georgia passer Carson Beck also received an invitation.
Each SEC quarterback, particularly Nussmeier, has a lot to gain from this Combine. He was once seen as the potential No. 1 pick of this NFL Draft, but his poor final year with the Tigers sent him spiraling down draft boards. If he can demonstrate the arm talent that had him so highly regarded entering the season, and explain what went wrong for him in 2025, he may be able to salvage some of his former stock. The NFL Combine runs from Feb. 23 through March 2.
