"But I will say that it’s found in the first episode, and it’s really fun to watch Survivor players pick up the note and go, 'Hey, it’s me, Billie. Billie Eilish.' And they go, '[Looks around, confused.]' Because they didn’t know this. This is something we’re promoting now, but we told nobody on our crew. It was really fun to see the first footage of somebody going, 'I don’t understand what’s happening. Why is it called a Boomerang Idol? What does that mean?'" The reception behind the reveal of celebrity involvement in Survivor 50 was polarizing, to say the least.
