HENRIETTA, N.Y. — Over 1,000 people had their power knocked out after a crash that brought down power lines in Henrietta overnight.
News10NBC’s photojournalist saw the front end of a red car smashed at the scene just before 1 a.m. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office has shut down the area of Scottsville-West Henrietta Road and Moore Road while crews work to make repairs.
Nearly 700 people are still without power as of 5 a.m., according to RG&E’s website. We’ve reached out to deputies to learn if anyone was hurt and when the road will reopen. Check back for updates.
