A lawsuit filed by the Nashville, Tenn. bar’s former owners claims its new owner, The Elia Group, has failed to make more than $2 million in owed payments. Cusaboo Jr. Operating Company and Benjamin L. Shirah sold the venue — then called The Valentine — to Zaid Elia’s Elia Group in 2023.
Per the Nashville Business Journal, the deal included a consultation agreement and an acknowledgement of a $2 million payment. The new owners have not met that obligation.

It’s a hotspot for celebrity bars. The “Homesick” singer’s four-level venue offers several bar counters, a restaurant, dance floor, and rooftop views.
When he opened it, Brown said he wanted his personal bar to “feel a little different from what you usually find on Broadway. It’s the kind of place where you might run into familiar faces and make memories along the way, whether it’s your first time in town or your hundredth night out.”
Brown has a new song out with Shania Twain, called “Boots.” He only has one show on his touring calendar for the remainder of the year, an event called Audacy Stars & Strings, taking place Nov. 12 in Hollywood, Florida.
