High school seniors don’t typically get boosted recruiting rankings after their seasons are complete, but Alabama signee Jett Thomalla is an exception – as he jumped up from No. 69 to No. 48 in the final 247 Sports Composite ranking released Tuesday.
Thomalla, a quarterback recruit out of Millard South High School in Omaha, Neb., signed with the Crimson Tide in December and enrolled in January as an early signee in the 2026 class. He chose Alabama over Iowa State, Arizona, Duke and Iowa.
Thomalla’s composite ranking got a major boost when Rivals gave him a 5th star and ranked him No. 24 in the final 2026 Rivals 300.
