A handful of new and enhanced dipping sauces are hitting Portillo’s menus, the iconic Chicago-area hot dog and Italian beef chain announced on NBC 5 Tuesday morning.
The five new sauces — some of which are “improved” versions of beloved ones already on the menu — come after the beloved restaurant teased them in a cryptic social media post that featured five different colors and the caption “1.27.26.”
One of the sauces, “Comeback Sauce,” is brand new, Portillo’s said, and was named to celebrate the record-breaking number of comebacks by the Chicago Bears during the 2025-26 NFL season. According to Portillo’s, the sauce is a creamy, tangy dipping sauce with black pepper, garlic and paprika.
The chain also revealed four other “improved” sauces on NBC 5 Tuesday morning, with the restaurant saying the updated versions were based on customer feedback. The full list can be found below:
