Bulls’ Tre Jones Strains Hamstring, Out At Least 2 Weeks (REPORT) ...Middle East

Sport by : (Bleacher Nation) -

The Chicago Bulls should be counting their lucky stars that they just got Josh Giddey back. Reserve point guard Tre Jones has apparently strained his left hamstring, and Joel Lorenzi of The Athletic reports that the 26-year-old will be re-evaluated in two weeks.

That means Jones could be on the shelf through this year’s Feb. 5 trade deadline — which, given the club’s surplus of guards this year, is a bummer, as the pint-sized Duke product (he’s 6-foot-1, small even for point guards) could be an intriguing chip for teams trying to actually, you know, win at some point this century.
