Famed Chicago Chef Grant Achatz of Alinea will receive the Culinary Excellence Award and Gene & Georgetti will be recognized for the first “Iconic Restaurant of the Year” award.

Viewers can watch The Banchet Awards live on the NBC 5 Chicago News streaming channel on Roku, Peacock, Xumo and other major streaming platforms, as well as on NBCChicago.com, the NBC Chicago app and the NBC Chicago YouTube channel.

While tickets to attend the event in person are no longer available, limited tickets remain for an after party set to follow the awards and offer food, drinks and music with many of the city’s top chefs and industry leaders.
A portion of the proceeds from the awards event will benefit Giving Kitchen, which provides emergency financial assistance and resources to food service workers in crisis.
