Even though the Chicago Bulls won last night, the city of Chicago isn’t exactly celebrating. And no—it’s not because the Bulls beat a shorthanded team (though, let’s be honest, that does mean very little). It’s because the dream-like season of the Chicago Bears came to an end.
We may be Bulls writers here, but we can still appreciate what we witnessed. So I won’t cry because it’s over, I’ll smile because it happened.
Now, back to the hardwood.
Let’s talk Bulls basketball.
With a dominant win over a shorthanded Brooklyn Nets, the Chicago Bulls picked up their 20th win of the season. Unfortunately, they’re still right on track for the same season we’ve seen before, last year, the year before that, and the year before that. This was a game against the Nets’ C-team, so there honestly isn’t much to take away from it. That said, one thing was worth noting: the new starting lineup of Coby White, Isaac Okoro, Matas Buzelis, Jalen Smith, and Nikola Vučević.
