A myriad of offensive struggles likely played a factor in him only racking up 12 catches for 126 yards and a touchdown through a pair of campaigns.
This past year, Smith only registered in the stat sheet during South Carolina’s first two games of the season.
With his combination of great size and athleticism, Smith figures to have plenty of untapped potential, and the Rebels have done well to be a safe haven for transfers to find their footing. Stars Trinidad Chambliss and Kewan Lacy serve as prime examples of that, and Smith could be the next to take a sizable leap in Oxford.
