An 18-year-old is dead and two others are critically injured after an SUV slammed into multiple homes in Chicago’s Park Manor Sunday.
According to Chicago police, the teen was driving a Jeep westbound in the first block of East Marquette Road at approximately 5:22 a.m. when he lost control of the vehicle.
The Jeep struck multiple homes, including in the 6600 block of South Wabash before coming to rest.
The teen driver was taken to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Two other passengers in the vehicle were taken to Comer Children’s Hospital, including a 14-year-old boy and an unidentified teen, who suffered injuries to his face.
Police investigating the crash recovered multiple firearms from the vehicle, but no other information was available on the circumstances of the crash.
