'Adventures in Babysitting' Cast: Where Are They Now?
Elisabeth Shue (Chris Parker)
Shue got her start in a Burger King commercial while in college. She was the only girl in a family of four children that included younger brother Andrew Shue, who also became an actor and starred on TV’s Melrose Place. Tragically, as Nickiswift.com recalled, another brother, William, died in 1988, a year after Shue had her breakout role in Adventures in Babysitting. While on a family vacation, William, 26, was swinging on a tire swing when a rope broke, and he was thrown into a tree branch, which impaled him.
