Raul Chavarria, 42, was arrested Wednesday on failure-to-appear warrants in separate cases, according to Weld County arrest reports.
He faces charges of second-degree murder, vehicular homicide by reckless driving, failure to remain at the scene after an accident, second-degree motor vehicle theft in the death of 47-year-old Eduvina “Duvie” Maldonado, according to a Greeley Police Department news release.
Maldonado was found dead in a car in December 2023 after police received a 911 call about her well-being.
