BTS is officially returning to the global stage, announcing a massive 2026–2027 world tour that will mark the group’s first full run together in several years and one of the largest K-pop tours ever staged.
The newly announced tour will span 34 regions and 79 shows across Asia, North America, Europe, Latin America and Australia, with BTS set to play multi-night stadium engagements in every market. In Los Angeles, the group will return to SoFi Stadium for four nights on Sept. 1-2 and 5-6, continuing their history-making relationship with the Inglewood venue.
The tour launches April 9, with a three-night run in Goyang, South Korea, before heading to Tokyo. From there, BTS will begin the North American leg with two shows at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, marking the group’s first-ever performances in the city. Additional U.S. and Canadian stops include East Rutherford, New Jersey; Toronto; Chicago; Las Vegas; and multiple Texas and California dates, all booked in stadiums.
Beyond scale, the tour introduces several firsts for the group: BTS will make their debut performances in cities including Madrid, Brussels, Bogotá and Buenos Aires, while also becoming the first K-pop act to headline venues such as AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, and M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. The group will also become only the second musical act to perform at Stanford Stadium, following Coldplay.
The production will feature a 360-degree, in-the-round stage design, placing the audience on all sides, increasing capacity, and emphasizing immersion. This setup reflects the tour’s stadium-only format.
The announcement marks BTS’s first headline tour since 2021–2022’s “Permission to Dance on Stage,” which included sold-out shows in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and Seoul. That run helped solidify BTS as one of the most globally dominant touring acts of the decade, setting attendance and gross records across multiple markets and further pushing K-pop into the mainstream concert circuit.
In 2022, the band paused group activities as members began fulfilling South Korea’s mandatory military service requirement, which applies to all able-bodied men. Over the past few years, BTS members have completed or continued their individual enlistments while pursuing solo music and projects. With all seven members set to reunite following the completion of their service obligations, the 2026–2027 world tour signals the group’s full return to the global stage.
Ticket sales will begin with an ARMY Membership presale starting Thursday, Jan. 22, followed by additional presales on Jan. 23. Remaining tickets will be released during the general onsale beginning Saturday, Jan. 24, via LiveNation.com.
