No. 13 Alabama suffered its second straight loss with a defeat against the unranked Texas Longhorns Saturday night.
One of the lone bright spots was forward Taylor Bol Bowen.
Bol Bowen came off the bench, scored 11 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in 26 minutes. He was 3/3 from 3-point range.
“He’s doing what we need him to do to win games,” coach Nate Oats said of Bol Bowen. “He was a real bright spot for us. He wasn’t the issue in either of these losses.”
Bol Bowen’s 10 rebounds marked a season high for the Crimson Tide big man.
“I definitely think it was a step in the right direction,” Bol Bowen said postgame. “I need to hold myself to that standard.”
