Former Oklahoma offensive lineman Luke Baklenko is transferring to Arizona State from the transfer portal, according to On3.
The 6-foot-6, 315-pounder appeared in all 13 games for the Sooners in 2025, playing mostly on special teams. He logged 156 offensive snaps at tackle (90 at right and 66 at left).
Out of Oaks Christian High School in Thousand Oaks, California, Baklenko originally signed with Stanford as a consensus 3-star recruit.
Baklenko was as a two-year starter at Stanford, where he was Stanford’s main right tackle (612 snaps) in 2024. He also logged 34 snaps at left tackle during his sophomore campaign.
In 2023, he started the final five games of the year at left tackle for Stanford as a true freshman (370 snaps).
Baklenko is the No. 38 offensive tackle and No. 587 overall player in the transfer portal, according to 247 Sports. He will have one year of eligibility remaining.

Baklenko could compete for a starting spot after the Sun Devils lost left tackle Josh Atkins to Missouri and right tackle Max Iheanachor to the NFL.
Jalen Klemm and Champ Westbrooks played those respective spots for ASU in the Sun Bowl, and both are expected to return. Jarmaine Mitchell (the No. 1 JUCO prospect overall in 2026) is in the mix to start as well.
In addition to visiting ASU, Baklenko also reportedly visited Kansas State while in the portal.
