Mirah Yom Tov Zeitlyn, best known as Mirah, announced on Instagram on Wednesday morning that she is releasing her sixth studio album, Dedication, next month. This is her first project with brand new music since Understanding in 2018. In 2020, to honor her debut solo album, You Think It's Like This but Really It's Like This, for its 20th anniversary, Mirah released a remastered version of the record along with covers by Mount Eerie, Half Waif, Hand Habits, Palehound, Shamir, Sad13, Allison Crutchfield and more.
"I feel so grateful and honored to be able to share the news that my new album, Dedication, will be released on February 20th! The new single, After the Rain, is out today," Mirah wrote in her Instagram caption. "This album was a long time coming, as it did through lots of changes and experiences, some joyful and some devastating. I know you all can relate."

Mirah received a lot of success as a solo artist, thanks to her 2009 album (a)spera peaking on Billboard's Top Heatseekers chart at No. 46, and her 2011 collaborative album with Thao Nguyen peaked at No. 7.
