ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Heritage Christian Services and Foodlink will host a pop-up food pantry on Wednesday afternoon to combat food insecurity in the area. Anyone can attend.
The event takes place at the Pieters Family Life Center on Commons Way from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., or until supplies run out.
Organizers said their goal was to provide groceries to as many as 250 families.
Over 50 Heritage Christian Services employees have volunteered to help out with food distribution.
