Tamra Judge’s husband, Eddie Judge, is reacting to The Real Housewives of Orange County’s latest casting decision.
“What I learned, particularly from my interview with Joe Gorga about him and his sister [Teresa Giudice] talking again, I realized that we do live in the world where you just don’t need enemies,” Eddie, 52, said on the Tuesday, January 6, episode of iHeartRadio’s “The Ed’s” podcast, reacting to Vicki Gunvalson’s season 20 return to the Bravo reality show.
“What she did, she did on the show, and what she did to me really wasn’t that big a deal,” he continued, referring to the pair’s past disagreements.
Back in 2017, Vicki, 63, invited Gretchen Rossi, Lizzie Rovsek and Kelly Dodd over for a friendly gathering. During the get-together, accusations surfaced that Tamra’s husband could be gay. (Eddie has denied the claims.)

“What I really was bothered with is how she treated you,” Eddie told his guest cohost and wife, Tamra, 58. “And again, it’s a TV show. … But when you’re fighting, you’re fighting like sisters.”
If Eddie had his wish, he would be able to see his wife and Vicki have fun again while he hangs out with Vicki’s boyfriend, Michael Smith.
“At the end of the day, it does help that I like Mike. Mike’s a cool cat. I really, really like Mike,” Eddie shared. “At the end of the day, you got to forgive, forget and move on.”
Bravo has yet to announce any casting decisions for season 20 of The Real Housewives of Orange County — except for Vicki’s big return.
As cast members and viewers wait for news, Tamra and Eddie discussed some burning questions fans may have about the show. Keep reading to see what they revealed in their latest podcast.
Why Does Eddie Judge Avoid Getting Involved With ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ Drama?
Eddie Judge and Tamra Judge Courtesy of Tamra Judge/InstagramThroughout his many years on Bravo, Eddie said he tries his best to stay out of the cast’s feuds and explosive arguments.
“I’m not a Housewife,” he said before throwing some playful shade at other partners who get more involved. “They want their 15 minutes on a female Housewife show. That’s all. I’m not about that.”
Instead, Eddie said he wants to support his wife as she documents her life for the Bravo cameras.
“I am not about to upstage you or get involved. This is not a show about guys,” he reiterated. “It’s a Housewife show. My only place is to support you — call it a supporting role. I’m not about to be a little bitch on the show.”
What Is the Biggest Misconception About Tamra Judge?
While Tamra has been known to stir the pot season after season, Eddie assured listeners that his wife is more than amicable at home when cameras aren’t rolling.
“[The biggest misconception is] that you are mean and a drunk and really hard to be friends with, which is the irony because the real you? You don’t give a damn about the stupidity of what people are doing out there in the world,” he shared. “You keep to yourself. You’re actually a bigger homebody than I am.”
Eddie continued, “What I’ve learned in business is as an entrepreneur, you go,
you do your job, you do your work. When you come home, you leave all the problems and issues outside the door and you come in and enjoy your family.”
Why RHOC's Tamra Judge Doesn't See a Path Forward With Gretchen Rossi
Will Eddie Judge Be Disappointed if Tamra Judge Isn’t Asked Back for Season 20?
The short answer is no.
“At the end of the day, this is your thing. You battle with it,” he explained. “You have your ups. You have your downs. You have your good days. You have your bad days and I’m just here to support you and whatever decision you make. At the end of the day, there’s one thing I’ve learned about you. Tamra’s going to do whatever the hell Tamra wants to do.”
Eddie said he is in a position to help bounce off ideas with his wife, brainstorm and offer support when it’s needed the most.
“At the end of the day, it doesn’t really affect me,” he said. “This is about you and you’re great on the show — the few episodes that I watch.”
