ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Fifth Frame Brewing Co. announced its immediate closure on Facebook. expressed gratitude to the Rochester and Summerville communities for their support over the years.
“This was an incredibly difficult decision, however unavoidable,” the post said.

The closure comes during a challenging time for the craft beer industry. Heroes Brewing in Rochester closed last year, with the owner citing industry hardships. K2 Brothers in Penfield is also currently closed.
According to the Brewers Association, brewery closures have outpaced openings since 2024. Additionally, News10NBC reported that Beers of the World in Henrietta is closing at the end of next month due to industry changes and the economy.
