Simpson was hit hard from behind by Indiana defensive back D’Angelo Ponds during a 9-yard scramble in the second quarter, fumbling the football in the process. The Hoosiers recovered the loose football and promptly marched 58 yards on 11 plays for a touchdown to make it 17-0.

“I really don’t want to get into that, honestly,” Simpson added. “There was lots of speculation. Playing an SEC schedule, I’m always going to get hurt. Always going to get dinged up. I’m not gonna get into what I hurt.”
