Traffic on the Dan Ryan was snarled Tuesday afternoon after a rollover crash involving a semi-truck near Chicago’s Englewood neighborhood.
Around 3:46 p.m., a semi-truck and an SUV crashed on southbound I-94 near 63rd Street, causing the SUV to overturn on the right shoulder of the expressway, authorities said.
Three people were transported to a local hospital with injuries, police said.
Aerial video captured by NBC Chicago Sky 5 showed an emergency response blocking several lanes on the expressway around 4 p.m., with traffic getting by in the far-right lane.
The two right lanes remained closed as of 4:30 p.m., according to Illinois State Police.
Delays of approximately 10 minutes were expected as of 4:10 p.m., according to Total Traffic.
