2026 NFL Mock Draft: Bears Get New EDGE, Love To Kansas City, Giants Win Big ...Middle East

Sport by : (Bleacher Nation) -

Let’s hit another 2026 NFL mock draft.

As long as the Giants hold onto the top pick, I still think that someone will end up moving up for it, and they’d be wise to trade back a few spots. Plus, the Bears add a different EDGE, and the Chiefs pick up the most dangerous offensive player in the draft class.

2026 NFL Mock Draft

1. New York Jets (via NYG): QB Fernando Mendoza – Indiana

If the Giants end up with the top pick, they will almost certainly deal it. I’m sure they’d rather not trade it across town, but the Jets need a quarterback and are armed with extra first-rounders after selling at the deadline. After Mendoza’s big win over Ohio State, he’s probably the top QB on the board, but that is very subject to change in the coming months.

2. Las Vegas Raiders: QB Dante Moore – Oregon

Vegas keeps climbing to the second overall pick, and they make it two QBs in a row by selecting Dante Moore, who, the more I watch, has become my favorite quarterback in this draft class.

3. Cleveland Browns: WR Jordyn Tyson – Arizona State

I have no idea yet if Cleveland likes Shedeur Sanders enough to keep him around for another year, but they’ve given him the rest of this season, and the 2027 quarterback class is stacked. Would they take the third QB off the board, or go with a piece that they know can really help them? I think it’s the latter.

4. New York Giants (via NYJ): LB Arvell Reese – Ohio State

After trading back for what I would assume is quite the haul, the Giants take arguably the top talent on the board and come away big winners in the first round of this year’s draft.

5. Tennessee Titans: WR Carnell Tate – Ohio State

There are a few routes they could go here, including an offensive lineman if they like one enough, but they could also take a top wideout to pair their talented, soon-to-be second-year quarterback with.

6. Arizona Cardinals: QB Ty Simpson – Alabama

The Kyler Murray era seems pretty over in Arizona as the Cardinals continue to spiral. With potentially a new head coach and GM (though not guaranteed) next year, a reset with a first-round quarterback seems like a logical choice.

7. Washington Commanders: S Caleb Downs – Ohio State

How fortunate would Washington be to end up in a spot to get to choose between Caleb Downs or Rueben Bain Jr.? I’m not sure if the board shakes out this way, but it’s entirely possible as of now. Feels like they’d be in a can’t-miss spot. Bain Jr. plays the more premier position, but Downs could be the most talented player in this year’s draft. What a good problem to have.

8. New Orleans Saints: EDGE Rueben Bain Jr. – Miami

Given how loaded next year’s class appears to be at quarterback and how much help their roster needs all over, I think the Saints would choose to address a position other than quarterback and give Tyler Shough some time on the job. Bain is arguably the top EDGE in the draft and can help that defense right away.

9. Cincinnati Bengals: OT Spencer Fano – Utah

Joe Burrow is back from injury, but the Bengals need to improve their protection around him. This pick gives Cincinnati the chance to take a player some believe is the top tackle on the board.

10. Miami Dolphins: CB Mansoor Delane – Tennessee

The Dolphins add arguably the top cornerback in the draft here, which helps fill a big need, despite also needing help in the trenches on both sides of the ball.

11. Los Angeles Rams (via ATL): OT Francis Mauigoa – Miami

The Rams are one of the NFC favorites, but still end up with a top-ten selection thanks to their trade in last year’s draft. I think they’ll use this opportunity to take one of the top tackles on the board and fortify their offensive line.

12. Kansas City Chiefs: RB Jeremiyah Love – Notre Dame

The Chiefs aren’t used to drafting this high! Is running back a bit of a luxury pick? Maybe. But Jeremiyah Love is one of, if not the most talented players in this draft, and would bring another explosive element to Head Coach Andy Reid’s offense.

13. Dallas Cowboys: EDGE Keldric Faulk – Auburn

Faulk is another candidate to be the top EDGE off the board in this draft. Dallas needs help getting to the QB after trading away Micah Parsons. Getting Faulk here would be a great value for how talented he is at a premier position. There’s a very decent chance that he’s gone by this point, but it’s not outside the realm of possibility.

14. Baltimore Ravens: DT Peter Woods – Clemson

The Ravens, as they often do, end up with a talented player who ends up falling to them, and they don’t hesitate to make the pick. Woods has a top-10 ceiling, but he has had a down season, and Baltimore desperately needs help stopping the run. This could be a great landing spot for both sides.

15. Minnesota Vikings: CB Jermod McCoy – Tennessee

Brian Flores’ defense needs some help on the interior D-line despite the Vikings’ spending spree there last offseason, but they need help at cornerback even more. They get one of the top players on the board at that position.

16. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: EDGE David Bailey – Texas Tech

The Bucs’ top need this offseason will be to address their inability to get to the quarterback. David Bailey did that in a big way for Texas Tech this season. This feels like a really nice fit for both sides if the board shakes out this way.

17. Detroit Lions: EDGE T.J. Parker – Clemson

Aidan Hutchinson is great, but the Lions have struggled to find a consistent option opposite him. They could very well take a shot at that here with this pick.

18. New York Jets (via IND): WR Makai Lemon – USC

Wide receiver might not be their biggest need, but adding Makai Lemon to their group of pass catchers adds a versatile weapon for their young QB. If the Jets trade up to #1, it’s certainly possible this pick is involved, but for now, we’ll just leave it with the Jets.

19. Carolina Panthers: EDGE Cashius Howell – Texas A&M

The Panthers have been a fun team this year, but an area they can improve in is getting to the quarterback. Cashius Howell would help fill that need.

20. Pittsburgh Steelers: WR Denzel Boston – Washington

The Steelers’ offense is stagnant, and they desperately need help alongside DK Metcalf. Boston would add a dangerous, versatile weapon to a Pittsburgh team that could really use one.

21. Dallas Cowboys (via GB): LB Sonny Styles – Ohio State

At this point of the first round, Dallas might be in “best player available” territory, and Sonny Styles is a really good one. While he doesn’t play at a premier position, he’s incredibly talented and would help Dallas on that side of the ball.

22. Philadelphia Eagles: OT Kadyn Proctor – Alabama

The Eagles need help more so on the interior offensive line, so Penn State’s Olaivavega Ioane will be an option here, too. Having said that, Lane Johnson isn’t getting any younger. Proctor is a massive prospect at 6-foot-7 and 366 poudns. However, he needs to get a little better at moving laterally and playing with lower pad level. Starting him off at right guard, playing him next to Lane Johnson, and possibly grooming him to take over that spot could make a lot of sense. Plus, it would give Philly an absolute mauler in the run game.

23. Houston Texans: IOL Olaivavega Ioane – Penn State

For as well as Houston has played down the stretch, the offensive line is still a fairly big need for them to address in the offseason. Vega Ioane would be a really solid addition for them at this spot to help get that process started.

24. Buffalo Bills: Avieon Terrell – Clemson

While the offense is still electric, the defense in Buffalo lacks playmakers. He doesn’t have an INT yet this year. Terrell has four forced fumbles, three sacks, and nine pass breakups.

25. Los Angeles Chargers: DT Caleb Banks – Florida

Jim Harbaugh loves beefing up in the trenches, and at 6-foot-6 and 330 pounds, Caleb Banks would help the Chargers do just that on the defensive line.

26. San Francisco 49ers: OT Caleb Lomu – Utah

The Niners will have to replace Trent Williams at some point. This feels like a place for them to do that, especially with a rock-solid tackle on the board.

27. Cleveland Browns (via JAX): CB Colton Hood – Tennessee

There are a few routes the Browns could go here. They can address the offensive line, beef up somewhere in their already solid front seven, get another playmaker, or take a corner. I think, given how the board has played out, cornerback is the route to go.

28. Los Angeles Rams: Brandon Cisse – South Carolina

The Rams added a tackle earlier in the first round; now they fill another need with a cornerback who had a very productive year for South Carolina.

29. Chicago Bears: EDGE Gabe Jacas – Illinois

As of now, he’s still a bit of a first-round reach, but I’ve been saying the past few weeks, and I mean it, that I think he’s going to rise up draft boards due to his measurables and athleticism. He had 11 sacks for the Illini this season, can play the run well, and is truly an explosive football player on the defensive line. The Bears desperately need help getting to the quarterback, and I think this is a fit, especially with Defensive Coordinator Dennis Allen, who likes bigger-framed players at EDGE.

30. New England Patriots: EDGE LT Overton – Alabama

The Patriots have had an awesome year, but they still have a few holes to fill, and EDGE is one of them. Overton’s sack numbers haven’t been super flashy for the Tide this year, but he’s a rock-solid football player who plays the run well. He feels like a safe option for Mike Vrabel’s team here.

31. Denver Broncos: TE Kenyon Sadiq – Oregon

A good tight end is a quarterback’s best friend, and Sean Payton has had quite a bit of success developing tight ends. If he slips here, Sadiq would be a really nice fit in Denver.

32. Seattle Seahawks: Keith Abney II – Arizona State

Interior offensive line and cornerback are two of the bigger needs for Seattle in this draft. Given how the board has shaken out in this mock, I think cornerback is the direction they take.
