Disneyland will close 11 attractions for seasonal refurbishments after the busy Christmas holiday season comes to an end and the Anaheim theme park resort shifts into one of the rare slow periods on the calendar before the start of the 2026 Lunar New Year celebration.
Rise of the Resistance, Haunted Mansion, It’s a Small World, Incredicoaster, Grizzly River Run, Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, Mark Twain Riverboat, Sailing Ship Columbia, Pixie Hollow and “Fantasmic” will temporarily close in January as part of the standard refurbishment schedule at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.

Disneyland’s winter holiday season ends on Jan. 7 with a brief respite before DCA’s 2026 Lunar New Year celebration kicks off on Jan. 23.

The Haunted Mansion and It’s a Small World will shed their holiday overlays in January. The New Orleans Square dark ride will undergo the transformation back to traditional mode Jan. 12-22 and work on the Fantasyland boat ride will start on Jan. 26.
