Grand Canyon product Gabe McGlothan has agreed to sign a 10-day hardship contract with the Indiana Pacers, reports ESPN’s Shams Charania.
McGlothan went undrafted out of GCU in 2024 but latched onto the Denver Nuggets for training camp as a rookie. He joined their G League affiliate, the Grand Rapids Gold, before he was traded to the Pacers’ G League team, the Noblesville Boom, this past August.
Over 14 games this G League season, McGlothan is averaging 16.9 points, 7.9 rebounds and 1.9 steals per game while shooting 53% from the field.
McGlothan, who went to Basha High School and is from Gilbert, Arizona, played a year at Southeast Missouri State before four seasons at Grand Canyon.
As a senior in 2023-24, he averaged 12.8 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game, helping the Antelopes advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

Former centers Bayard Forrest (1977-79) and Horacio Llamas (1996-98) both played over parts of two seasons with the Phoenix Suns.
