A man suspected of killing his wife in Lancaster has been extradited to the United States from Peru.
Jossimar Cabrera arrived at Los Angeles International Airport around 7:30 p.m. Friday, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Jossimar Cabrera, 36, is allegedly seen on surveillance video dragging a large object in a large blanket or sheet from the Lancaster apartment he shared with wife Sheylla Cabrera, 33, whose body was found Saturday, Aug. 16, 2025, in the Angeles National Forest. Cabrera, 37, was arrested in Peru in late August and had been awaiting extradition.
He is accused of killing his wife, Sheylla Lisbet Cabrera, 33, with a knife on Aug. 10 at their apartment in Lancaster and then fleeing to Peru with their three children.
Her body was found on Aug. 16 at the bottom of an embankment in the Angeles National Forest.
