Okay, so we’ve all had a couple days to put the ugly weekend in the rearview mirror and move forward. The Blackhawks made the decision on their off day to sent a couple young guys to Rockford to get some work and called up just one forward, which means they’ll be skating a “normal” 12-6 lineup.
The great news for all of us is tonight’s nationally broadcast game is actually an early game! Love me a 6:30 start on a weeknight. Let’s see if the Blackhawks show up on time and get back to what works.
Oh, and keep an eye on warm-ups tonight… we might see dark jerseys on both teams in their centennial seasons for the national television audience.

Adam Fox and Matt Rempe are on IR.What to Watch For
The Blackhawks have had a couple days to digest, flush and move on from two of their worst performances of the season. Let’s see if they bounce back in a big way on home ice against a vulnerable Rangers team tonight. The Blackhawks will go back to skating 12 forwards tonight. Head coach Jeff Blashill said after the morning skate that hopefully they can find a little more consistency from the forwards being able to roll with “normal” linemates. The Rangers come into this game having lost their last two games. But they’re a strange team this year. The Rangers are 12-4-1 away from Madison Square Garden and only 3-8-3 at home.Get Caught Up
