SCOTTSVILLE, N.Y. — Stokoe Farms celebrated its annual “Trees for Troops” event on Friday.
Local volunteers loaded a FedEx truck with Christmas trees destined for military members and their families at no cost.
Stokoe Farms has participated in this program for 21 years, providing more than 320,000 fresh-cut Christmas trees over the years.
In 2023, News10NBC spoke with Suzanne Stokoe, the owner of Stokoe Farms. Stokoe told us her father started this tradition.
“We just thought it was a really great way for Christmas tree farmers to show their appreciation to our military families. And I’ve been bale to carry on that tradition,” Suzanne told us.
