A Denver police officer was arrested in Arvada Wednesday night in connection with an assault related to a domestic disturbance, according to a Thursday Denver Police Department news release.
Officer Cody Haggard, who joined the Denver Police Department in 2024 and served District Four patrol, was arrested on suspicion of simple assault, the release said.
Details about the arrest were not provided by DPD.
Haggard was placed in an “off-line assignment” where he will remain while the case goes through the judicial process, the news release said.
