Worshippers instead can follow the Friday prayers and sermon live as they air from the Ahmed Al-Fateh Islamic Centre, report added. The Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments said the suspension follows the recommendations of the National Medical Taskforce for Combating COVID-19 to protect elderly people as infections continually increase.
