November 18-21, 2025 SCY (25 Yards) Iowa City, IA Meet Mobile “2025 Hawkeye Invitational” Day 1 RecapWashington State’s Darcy Revitt swam to two school records on night 2 of competition in Iowa City. Revitt first broke her own record in the 50 freestyle, posting a 21.84 in her win. That dropped from her previous school record of a 21.89 that she swam back in February at the Mountain West Championships.
Later in the evening, Revitt anchored the team’s 200 free relay to another school record as she swam a 21.72 coming home. The relay also included Barbora Mileisyte, Issabelle Parrish, and Emily Lundgren as they swam to a final time of a 1:29.62. That broke the previous record of a 1:29.70 that the team swam at the 2025 Mountain West Championships. Lundgren and Revvitt were on that relay as well.
The women’s 50 free had numerous other school records broken as well. Swimming to a 2nd place finish was Nebraska’s Beatrix Tanko as she posted a school record time of a 22.17. That broke the old record of a 22.42 set by Taryn Collura in 2013. Finishing 3rd was Iowa’s Payton Flowers as she broke the Iowa school record posting a 22.38. That broke the old record of a 22.54 set by Hannah Burvill in 2019.
Flowers also helped Iowa to a school record in the 200 free relay. The team of Flowers, Audrey Olen, Rachel Dildine, and Ella Jean Kelly touched in a 1:30.21, under the old record of a 1:30.96 set in 2015.
Iowa had an individual win on the night as well, as Olivia Swalley swam to a 1:58.09 in the 200 IM. That was just off her best time of a 1:57.89 that sits at #2 all-time in Iowa school history. Touching behind Swalley was Sara Jass of Illinois as she swam the #2 time in Illinois school history with a 1:58.66.
The final win in the pool came from Nebraska’s Gena Jorgenson as she won the 500 free in a 4:40.29. Jorgenson is the school record holder in the event already as she holds the record at a 4:39.31 for 6th at the 2025 Big Ten Championships. Jorgenson touched over five seconds ahead of the rest of the field as Washington State’s Lauren Wille was 2nd in a 4:45.64.
Leading the way in the 1 meter diving event was Shiyun Lai of Kansas as she scored a 318.85. Iowa’s Lainey Woodward was 2nd with 314.65 points.
