Inglewood residents and the community beyond participated in free wellness activities, recieved resources and more Wednesday during the 2nd annual Together We Thrive Summit and Festival.

The summit, hosted by the Los Angeles County Justice, Care and Opportunities Department at WePlay Studios in Inglewood, included a day-long bill of panel discussions, art exhibitions, live performances and other interactive experiences to foster collaboration, inspiration and community engagement.

Service providers, people who have been impacted by the justice system, public agency representatives, activists, grassroots organizers, philanthropists, government officials and other community members attended the summit and festival.

At the event, about 1,500 attendees heard from more than 40 speakers, participated in nearly 10 workshops and witnessed 10 performers.

Those impacted by the justice system received free laptops, free haircuts and free groceries.

Other attendees also brought unwrapped toys for the Justice, Care and Opportunities Department’s second annual toy drive, in connection with the summit and festival.
