"I didn't have the tools or feel like I had the networking for it," Leavitt explained to Danielle Fishel on the Danielle With... podcast. "And here we are," she added, laughing.
"The show kind of naturally presented itself," she said of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, adding how making TikToks was her way of being able to perform and entertain.
"After last season, I did decide to step away from the show, but I never quit MomTok," the reality star said in a confessional. "I just really needed a break, but then I heard from my team Dancing with the Stars was going to cast someone from The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, and that’s a motivator. I'll come back for that."
