While stopping by Colbert's late-night program on Monday, Nov. 17, Fogerty topped off the visit with a performance of the beloved CCR track "Green River."
The band first released "Green River" in July 1969 as a single off their album of the same name. Over 50 years later, Fogerty proved he can still rock just the same.

John Fogerty Opens Up About Regaining the Rights to His Music
In 2023, after decades of trying to get his songs back, the "Fortunate Sun" artist finally acquired a majority stake in the CCR catalogue from Concord Records, which had taken ownership of the publishing rights after buying Fantasy Records.
Speaking with Colbert on Monday's show, Fogerty beamed with a newfound confidence since getting his songs back.
