The Kevin Byard III one was a true team effort. Defensive tackle Grady Jarrett came through with some pressure and forced a bad throw by McCarthy that was easily gobbled up by Byard. My favorite part of that play was hearing the audible groan from FOX broadcaster Tom Brady. The future Hall of Fame quarterback saw that pick coming from way up in the booth. As for the other interception, give credit to Nahshon Wright for high-pointing the ball. That is one heckuva way to make up for missing a gimme INT last week against the Giants.
The interceptions helped the Bears take a 10-3 lead into halftime. Chicago will get the ball to start the second half. And while there hasn’t been much offense from either side, I look forward to seeing what Bears Head Coach Ben Johnson cooks up coming out of the break.
