Syrian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Marwan al-Halabi on Saturday inaugurated several new departments and medical units at Idleb University Hospital, including the province’s first interventional radiology division.
During a tour of the facility, al-Halabi reviewed operations in a number of departments and said the ministry is working to strengthen university hospitals by upgrading infrastructure and expanding training opportunities for medical staff and students in line with modern medical-education standards.
He said the ministry will continue efforts to ensure the provision of essential supplies, improve patient services, and support the hospital’s academic and research functions.
