Traffic backed up during rush hour Friday on a suburban road after a large emergency response was prompted in the area, aerial video from NBC Chicago Sky 5 showed.
Just before 5 p.m. Friday, a large emergency response was seen near the 2800 block of South Harlem on the border of Riverside and Berwyn in Chicago’s west suburbs.
Video showed police blocking the street as emergency responders rendered aid to a person who was in the street.
It was not immediately clear what prompted the emergency response.
Traffic on Harlem built up as police blocked the roadway to render aid to the victim and investigate, video showed.
Riverside police did not immediately respond to NBC Chicago’s inquiries.
