ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Staple Vintage clothing store on University Avenue hosted an “After Dark” party Thursday night to support the Willow Domestic Violence Center. Guests enjoyed drinks and dancing, and donated to a food drive aimed at helping vulnerable community members.
“Since SNAP benefits have been cut off, I decided that I wanted to do specifically a food drive,” said Shealyn Rapp, owner of Staple Vintage.
Rapp said, “We already have three bins filled with food, which is amazing.”
“Gonna hopefully feed some families,” she added.
The food drive will continue through the end of Friday.
