ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Jeanne Fisher, vice president of radio at WXXI, announced her retirement after 29 years with the station.
Fisher joined WXXI in 1996 and has led the station’s radio division, and served as executive producer of “With Heart and Voice,” a nationally syndicated program showcasing choral and organ music.
She also hosted and produced the annual Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur broadcasts live from Temple B’rith Kodesh, and produced the annual “A Rochester Festival of Lessons” and “Carols and Christmas with Madrigalia.”
Fisher’s last day will be Nov. 26, but she will continue to produce “With Heart and Voice” even after retiring.
