Better pizza. Better skyline. Better when it mattered in the fourth quarter.
The Chicago Bears pulled off yet another miraculous late-game come-from-behind win thanks to quarterback Caleb Williams
FINAL: Chicago Bears 24, New York Giants 20 (ESPN BOX SCORE)
Thoughts on the crazy Week 10 win
The box score isn’t going to show that Caleb Williams played a great game. But to heck with the box score. Chicago’s QB1 delivered victory from the jaws of defeat with this improbable touchdown run:HE SURE DID pic.twitter.com/m0zgrap9kd t.co/SjgEi6f2oA
— Bleacher Nation Bears (@BN_Bears) November 9, 2025 Two touchdowns in the final four minutes. And it was all driven by quarterback Caleb Williams. The scrambles for first downs to extend drives were jaw-dropping. Watching him throw lasers targeting rookie tight end Colston Loveland (4 catches and 55 receiving yards all after halftime) and fellow first-year receiver Luther Burden III (3 catches, 51 yards) to make plays was eye-popping. Bears Head Coach Ben Johnson said last week that this team finds ways to win games you think they shouldn’t. And in the end, they did exactly that. I am still stunned.CHICAGO BEARS WEEK 10 INSTANT GRADES
How about some love for the Bears defense? That group got stops when it needed them the most. It wasn’t pretty for most of the game. And there is a part of me that wonders how that game would’ve ended had Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart not left early due to a concussion. But that shouldn’t take away from what Chicago’s defense did in clutch moments at the end. Getting a shake punt helped, too. Let’s keep it real with each other: We are going to miss games like that when (if?) this team moves to a fixed-roof stadium in the suburbs. You’re not that good of a liar, so don’t act like you won’t. Snow games are fun. Sure, they’re a little sloppy. But ugly games build character — for both players and fans. Gervon Dexter Sr. — I saw this play live and said to myself: “Gervon Dexter Sr. just saved a touchdown.” Hence, I am glad that the Trib’s Sean Hammond saw it, too:
Sure looked like Bears DT Gervon Dexter saved a touchdown with that one-armed tackle of Russell Wilson. New York adds a field goal. Giants 20, Bears 10. 10:19 4Q
— Sean Hammond (@seanhammond.bsky.social) November 9, 2025 at 2:28 PMDexter stopping Russell Wilson from scoring and forcing the Giants into a field goal might have been the biggest play of the game. I want to do some digging on this, so I won’t go deeper now. But I will leave this section by pointing out that Dexter finished with 4 tackles (1 solo), 0.5 sacks (we need to have a discussion about half-sacks later), 1 quarterback hit, and 1 game-saving stop.
Theo Benedet — Trying to grade offensive linemen immediately after a game is a fool’s errand for me. However, I am looking forward to Matt’s write-up later in the week. This section would look different had the refs not picked up a flag for what would have been a phantom holding penalty.
Kyle Monangai — Last week’s hero finished with seven carries and 28 rushing yards. He scored a touchdown, but also dropped the only pass that wenet his way on Sunday. Monangai has skill and runs in an aesthetically pleasing way. With that being said, Monangai should spend the offseason in front of a JUGS machine catching passes so he can be a bigger part of the offense next year.

The late-game nail-biters aren’t good for our hearts. But we’ll gladly accept the final score if Chicago’s football team continues to come out on top. There is much to be written about this squad. And one thing we will need to hammer home is how resillient it has been. It starts at the top with a head coach who pushes hard and it flows through a quarterback whose will to keep getting back up after getting knocked down. It trickles down throughout the rest of the roster from there on out.
Bears Head Coach Ben Johnson made it a point to repeat that you don’t apologize for winning games in the NFL. I imagine the next point of emphasis in the week to come is that this team has too much talent (even with all the injuries) to avoid repeating this act over and over again. So even though this win moves the team to 6-3, it still has stuff to work on and improve upon when it gets back to work at Halas Hall. But teaching after another thrilling win is far easier than doing so after a deflating home loss.

We’ll be around on Monday to recap the Week 10 win and look ahead to the team’s upcoming matchup against the Minnesota Vikings.
