On Saturday, Nov. 8, Carrey, 63, and Momsen, 32—who played Cindy Lou Who in the beloved 2000 holiday film—posed for photos together on the red carpet before heading into the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, Calif.
For the event, Momsen rocked a black dress featuring lace accents and a leg slit, wearing a black leather coat over it. She finished the look with black, calf-high boots, layered necklaces and dark eye makeup.
Carrey, meanwhile, opted for a black graphic T-shirt, a black-and-white striped blazer, black dress pants and dress shoes.

Carrey—who hosted the 1996 episode of Saturday Night Live in which Soundgarden was the musical guest—shared a tribute to officially induct the band.
