November 7, 2025 University of Arkansas Natatorium, Fayetteville, Arkansas Short Course Yards (25 yards) Results Team Scores Arkansas 208.5 – SMU 88.5On Friday, the SMU Mustangs made the six-hour bus drive to the University of Arkansas for a women’s-only dual meet, where the Razorbacks walked away victorious 208.5-88.5. The home team dominated the competition, winning 14 of the 16 events on offer.
“I am extremely happy and proud of our team,” Arkansas head coach Neil Harper said in the university’s press release. “Every single swimmer and diver performed really well today against a good SMU team. A lot of the skills and techniques we are learning throughout the week are showing up in their performances today.”

SMU was on their heels the whole way, also producing a sub-1:40 performance with the lineup of Jimena Leal (25.73), Izzy Krantzcke (27.94), Maddy Parker (24.03), and Summer Osborne (22.21) hitting the wall at 1:39.91.
Razorback senior Sydney Craft swept the distance events, beginning with the 1000 free. She led from the very first stroke and never relinquished the lead, notching a time of 10:00.89 to win over the SMU duo of Karly Boles (10:06.60) and Madeline Hebert (10:10.74). Boles’ time undercut her season best by two seconds, while Hebert missed out on hers by less than a second. Craft’s season best stands at 9:56.44, which she recorded at the Arkansas vs. South Carolina meet in early October.
The 500 free saw a similar story, with Craft leading from the gun and finishing at 4:50.80—her second-fastest of the season. Boles checked in less than a second back with a season-best 4:51.45, while Razorback Sloan Zallen (4:57.50) rounded out the top three.
Razorback junior Harriet Rogers swept the 50 free (22.03) and 100 free (48.30), winning by 0.79 and 1.24 seconds, respectively. Her 50 free sliced 0.07 off her lifetime best, while her 100 free came just shy of her 48.14 mark from the Rutgers–Arkansas–Miami meet last month.
SMU’s Maddy Parker was runner-up in both races, clocking 22.82 and 49.54, the only other swimmer to dip under 23 and 50 seconds. The junior owns lifetime bests of 22.26 and 48.09 from the 2024 U.S. Open, and entered the meet with season marks of 22.66 and 48.87. Arkansas’ Delaney Harrison (23.37) took third in the 50, while teammate Viola Petrini (50.05) rounded out the top three in the 100.
Rogers added a third win in the 100 fly (53.46), topping the field by more than a second and just missing her 53.12 best time from the Arkansas–South Carolina dual meet last month. SMU freshmen AnneMarie Vlaic (54.52) and Cassidy Allison (54.93) took second and third, with Allison breaking 55 seconds for the first time this season.
Petrini picked up a win of her own in the 200 free, getting to the wall with a personal best 1:47.35, ahead of the Mustangs’ Summer Osborne (1:47.66) and Arkansas’ Tammy Greenwood (1:48.48). While Petrini led the race from the first 15 yards onward, Osborne kept it within half a stroke’s length the whole way. Osborne was about a second off the 1:46.35 personal best she logged at the SMU/Arizona/TCU meet last month, while Greenwood has been as quick as 1:47.52, recorded when she finished fifth at the D2 Championships last March while swimming for Oklahoma Christian.
Greenwood went on to win the 200 back, hitting the wall at 1:56.89 to get the edge over SMU’s Jimena Leal (1:57.30), with Razorback teammate Ashley Morton (1:59.65) dipping under two minutes to clear the rest of the field for third.
Leal got out to the early lead, flipping two hundredths ahead of Greenwood at the 50 before extending the lead to nine hundredths at the halfway mark. Greenwood was over two tenths quicker over each of the final two 50s to nab the win. Her time was a season best and just over a second shy of her 1:55.56 personal best from her runner-up finish at the 2025 D2 NCAAs.
In the shorter 100 back, it was Leal who grabbed the win for SMU, one of their two wins on the day. She notched a time of 53.85 to clear the rest of the field by nearly a second, with Arkansas’ duo of Morton and Mari Griffin next quickest to the wall at 54.72 and 55.15.
Vlaic, the 100 fly runner-up, was the Mustangs’ other winner, outdueling distance ace Craft in the 200 fly, 1:57.29 to 1:57.58. She came from behind at the 100, where she trailed by four tenths, to pull out the win. Vlaic’s time was her second fastest ever, elevating her to the eighth quickest woman in school history. Her personal best remains 1:57.12 from January 2024, while Craft owns a 1:56.02 personal best from the 2025 SEC Championships. Craft’s teammate Lucy Trailov was a ways back for third at 2:00.89, less than a second off her personal best and season best of 2:00.03 from a few weeks ago.
The Razorbacks saw lots of success in the breaststroke races. Hunter (1:02.13) topped SMU’s Izzy Krantzcke (1:02.47) and teammate Ellen Garritson (1:02.65) in the 100 with a lifetime best, leading from the gun. Meanwhile, Garritson was the 200 breast victor at 2:14.65 over SMU’s Holly Robinson (2:15.12) and Krantzcke (2:15.53). The 200 was a back and forth battle the whole way, with Robinson leading at the 50 and Krantzcke leading at the 100 before Garritson took control with four laps to go.
Robinson went on to secure a runaway win in the 200 IM, stopping the clock at a best time of 2:00.74, with Garritson (2:04.15) and Griffin (2:04.38) completing the 1-2-3 finish.
Arkansas’ lineup of Petrini (50.10), Rogers (48.08), Harrison (49.81), and Greenwood (48.63) was too much for the Mustangs to handle in the 400 free relay as they took the win by just under three seconds. SMU’s foursome of Parker (49.64), Osborne (49.61), Hebert (50.28), and Chloe Corbin (49.86) got to the wall in a time of 3:19.38 to beat out Arkansas’ ‘B’ team by over five seconds.
In diving action, Arkansas was utterly dominant with a 1-2-3 sweep in both events offered. Maria-Jose Sanchez won both the 1 and 3 meter events, scoring 324.75 in the former and 377.40 in the latter. Teammate Lotti Hubert was second in both with scores of 319.28 and 314.10, while Bruze Sanchez (300.00, 1 mtr) and Lauren French (309.83, 3 mtr) were third, respectively.
