No. 7 BYU at No. 8 Texas Tech (12 pm ET)

In the Big 12, we have a top 10 matchup between undefeated BYU (8-0, 5-0 in Big 12) and Texas Tech (8-1, 5-1 in Big 12). Kickoff is set for 12 pm ET on ABC, and the winner will have the inside track to the Big 12 Championship Game. It should be a fun quarterback matchup as Bear Bachmeier leads the way for BYU while Behren Morton leads Texas Tech.

Texas Tech has picked up back-to-back wins after suffering a 26-22 loss to Arizona State. Morton didn’t play in that loss due to an injury. He returned last week against Kansas State to throw 2 touchdown passes in a 43-20 win.

No. 9 Oregon at No. 20 Iowa (3:30 pm ET)

While Indiana (6-0 in Big Ten) and Ohio State (5-0 in Big Ten) are at the top of the Big Ten, Oregon plans to keep winning and hopes it can sneak into the Big Ten Championship Game. The Ducks (7-1, 4-1 in Big Ten) lone loss is to Indiana, and they have rebounded with wins over Wisconsin and Rutgers.

Today, it’s a matchup with No. 20 Iowa, which also has a 4-1 mark in the Big Ten. The Hawkeyes will be looking to slow down quarterback Dante Moore, who has thrown 19 touchdown passes for Oregon this season. Iowa has won three straight games since losing to Indiana on September 27. You can watch the game on CBS at 3:30 pm ET.

LSU at No. 4 Alabama (7:30 pm ET)

It has been a mess of a season for LSU, which has a 2-3 record in the SEC. That led to the firing of head coach Brian Kelly. None of that matters tonight in a huge rivalry game at No. 4 Alabama (7-1, 5-0 in SEC). The Crimson Tide are at the top of the SEC with Texas A&M and looking like they have what it takes to not only win the SEC title but also the National Championship.

Heisman candidate Ty Simpson has been fantastic with 20 touchdown passes and just 1 interception on the year. Bama played a tight contest two weeks ago in a 29-22 victory over South Carolina. After the bye week, they should be ready for kickoff at 7:30 pm ET on ABC. While LSU has lost three of its last four games, the college football schedule can’t ignore LSU vs Bama tonight.
